The Town of Cornwall has started work on the Official Plan and Zoning & Development Bylaw Review Project! This project will review the Town’s current planning documents and make updates based on technical expertise and community input. The Town’s planning documents were last updated in 2022, and under the Municipal Government Act, are now due for their five-year review.
This project is an exciting opportunity to renew and reinforce the vision for the town while creating updated planning documents that are practical, effective, and easy to use tools into the future.
The Town will be working closely with residents, businesses, and stakeholders throughout the process to ensure the updated documents reflect the needs and values of the community.
The first round of engagement launches today! There are a variety of opportunities, both online and in-person, to participate and share your input.
